Mint Pineapple Green Smoothie

I don’t know about you, but I love a great tasting green smoothie! They’re pretty simple to make, fill me up, help me to lose weight and allow me to get a lot of the vitamins and nutrients I may not normally get throughout my busy day.

I’ve never been a fan of the big smoothie chains due to the “extra” ingredients and syrups some of them throw into their drinks. It’s so much easier and healthier to just make your own from the comfort of home. And at least you’ll know exactly what’s in your green smoothie since you made it yourself.

This Mint Pineapple Green Smoothie is one of my personal favorites. It has just the right mix of veggies and fruits and tastes amazing. Here’s the recipe for it along with the macro breakdown:

Mint Pineapple Green Smoothie

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Serves: 2

Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 1 ½ oranges, juiced
  • 1/3 cup fresh pineapple, cubed
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2 teaspoons Chia seeds
  • 2 sprigs mint
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce, separate into leaves
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger

Directions:

1. Combine all of the ingredients in your food blender.
2. Blend them until smooth.
3. Serve. That’s all.
